Care Inspectorate grades each key question that applies to this type of service from 1 to 6. Each grade is shown as Care Inspectorate published it.
A service keeps its grade for a key question until that question is inspected again, so a grade can be older than the latest report. Where a service has not been inspected under Care Inspectorate’s newer quality frameworks, the nearest earlier grade is shown.

Plain facts about how Care Inspectorate rates and inspects services, as Care Inspectorate describes them. This is not advice and not a rating of ours.
The Care Inspectorate gave different grades for different key questions. It graded “Wellbeing” as Very good. It graded “Care and support planning” as Very good. It graded “Setting” as Good. It graded “Staff team” as Very good. It graded “Leadership” as Very good.
An inspection may look at some key questions and not others. A grade stays in place until that key question is inspected again. So the grades for one service can come from different dates.
There is no fixed timetable. The Care Inspectorate decides when to inspect. It uses the information it holds about a service, such as complaints, notifications and past grades, and its view of risk. It can also change a grade between inspections if it finds the grade no longer matches the service.
